Another fine day at the Great Priory of Malta meeting held at Freemans Hall, Great Queen Street, on 10th November 2025.
As always, we experienced a very professional meeting and witnessed the Installation of a new Great Prior of Malta in the person of Very Eminent Knight Dr. Nigel Frances John Scott-Moncrieff. The main business of the day was to Invest those Knights who had received Appointments or Promotions at the previous Knights Templar meeting in May this year.
After which we had the pleasure of watching the ceremony of the Installation of a Knight of Malta. Needless to say this was performed to a very high standard.
We dined afterwards at the Grand Connaught Rooms which adjoin Grand Lodge in fine style and with excellent company.
Unfortunately, from a photographic point of view, the Grand Master’s Bodyguard dine on a separate table therefore we do not see E. Kt. Rowland Rogers, Gt. A.de C, the Deputy Commander of the Grand Master’s Bodyguard; and E. Kts. Christopher Bewley and Simon Clark who also serve on the Bodyguard.
Bro. Kts. Dining together after the meetings enhances the whole day, we can relax and enjoy each others company in the luxurious surroundings of the Connaught Rooms before again joining in the frenetic atmosphere of the London underground.
Our next meeting is in May and all Knights are encouraged to attend, give it some thought Bro. Kts. We will be very pleased to see you.
